Editing Pages With Widgets

Pages are built with editable widgets. Widgets used on the site are all available in the widget menu on the left pane. The widgets are organized by type starting with “Bortolotto Widgets” that are specifically built to match the design of the site. Most of the other widgets are not in use.

Widgets: edit/add widgets by clicking on the “+”. You can also click in editable area and a dialog box will open to let you add a widget

When using widgets you will notice that there are several menus that allow you to add widgets and edit them. The menu that shows up when you click in the widget has a few helpful controls. Use the “three dots” at the end to open a menu that allows you to edit, duplicate, delete the widget. Use the “up and down” arrows to move the widget up and down the page. You can also drag the widget wherever you want by using the icon with 6 dots right beside the up and down widget.

Widgets to use:

Paragraph: use this to add text

Image: used to add an image

Spacer: used to add space between widgets (block settings show space options)

Columns: used for column layout. This works as a flexible container for image galleries or custom layouts for the pages. The block section will allow you to change the different widths of the columns. Always you % for this otherwise you might have some strange styling issues.

Bortolotto – Careers Listing: used to add careers on the careers page (connected to the careers post type)

Bortolotto – Processes: used to add processes on the About page (connected to the processes posts)

Bortolotto- Projects Listing: used to add projects to the projects page

Bortolotto Accordion Block: This widget will allow you to add accordions to any page. It works well for FAQs and is seen on the About page

Bortolotto Anchors Dropdown: This widget will create an anchor menu and will allow you to specify where the anchors are on the page. This can be seen on the About page

Bortolotto Contact Form Detailed: used to add a detailed contact form

Bortolotto Contact Form: used to add a detailed contact form

Bortolotto Firm Profile: a widget specifically built for the about page header. Includes a gallery

Bortolotto Latest News: this widget is added to the homepage

Bortolotto Latest Work: this widget shows the projects on the home page

Bortolotto layered image text: use this widget for an image text section (currently used on homepage)

Bortolotto leadership: used on the leadership section

Bortolotto logos listing: logos on the about page
