Tania Bortolotto is the founder and president of the Toronto based design firm Bortolotto. An architect and interior designer, registered in Ontario, Tania lends her time to numerous design and academic committees, panels, juries and charettes, in addition to taking on individual mentoring, teaching and speaking engagements. Tania serves as a director of the public company, Inscape Corp. and was an inaugural member of Waterfront Toronto’s Design Review Panel for four years. She also serves as a director on two boards and is an active member of Capital Projects Committees, assisting two private organizations. Tania is WELL Faculty representing the International WELL Building Institute.
Tania studied architecture at the University of Toronto and at Ryerson University. In 2007, Tania was the recipient of Ryerson’s Alumni Achievement Award, a distinction given to graduates who have made a significant contribution to their profession, community and country. Prior to founding Bortolotto, Tania worked at the firms of Diamond and Schmitt Architects, Teeple Architects and Kohn Shnier Architects.
Tania is the lead design architect for the high profile Rosalie Sharp Pavilion Student Centre at OCAD University project that is currently under construction. Also under her direction, Bortolotto successfully completed projects for University of Toronto, York University, Lakehead University, Humber College, and Rotman School of Management.
