Celebrating 20 Years in Toronto Architecture
October 18, 2019
As BORTOLOTTO celebrate its’ 20th anniversary this summer, I find myself reflecting on our journey; and what a ride it has been! From day one, I believed that architecture has the power to uplift the human experience and I am proud that as a firm, we continue to prove that good design matters.
It seems timely that we will kick off a new decade and begin our next chapter in our new office located at 4 Clinton Place where Bortolotto will continue to grow.
I feel proud of the accomplishments of the firm, a practice made up of dedicated, passionate and talented architects and professionals who have brought to life a shared commitment to serve our clients’ needs and aspirations.
This year alone we have reached the finish line with smiles on our faces and our hands held high on several projects after much blood, sweat and tears; the true measurement of passion! With the soon to be completed campus gateway Rosalie Sharp Pavilion at OCAD University; TD Bank’s flagship branch at Bay and Bloor Streets designed to enhance the public realm; and a soon to be constructed mental health facility, the Reach Out Centre for Kids, I have taken a step back and am proud of our accomplishments and the mature firm we have become.
I would like to thank you, our clients, colleagues, suppliers, contractors and friends for supporting our mission and allowing us to work everyday with the fuel to make a difference.
As we continue to grow our philosophy remains the same: to lift up the human experience and enhance happiness, health and productivity.
